Regional Property Manager
We are a growing Commercial Property Management company seeking a qualified Regional Property Manager (RPM) to oversee a portfolio of industrial and office properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable operations, maintaining high standards of property management, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and tenants. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the operations and management of a portfolio of commercial properties to maximize revenue, control expenses, and maintain the highest level of tenant satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of property managers and support staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and ensure continuous development.
- Participate in the development of a strategy for each asset in the portfolio and ensure annual plans for each asset are consistent with the company’s long-term strategy.
- Review and manage annual operating budgets for each property within the region. Monitor financial performance, including rent collection, expense control, and profitability.
- Review monthly financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate submission to client.
- Review and approve all lease administration for the assigned region.
- Assist with assigned duties for all acquisition and dispositions in the region.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with all safety standards and local regulations. Coordinate regular property inspections and maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the tenants, handle escalated tenant issues, and ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
- Work with Training and Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
- Negotiate, manage, and execute service and construction contracts to ensure cost-effective and quality service delivery.
- Collaborates with Accounting, Engineering, 3rd party leasing, and other departments.
- Lead weekly meetings with staff and bi-weekly meetings with Asset Management.
- Other duties as assigned by Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of commercial property management experience.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and relevant laws and regulations
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Yardi Voyager software experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, excellent driving record and auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation that can be utilized during the workday.
- Background check required.
