The BOMA Greater Dallas Annual Sporting Clay Tournament is almost here.

Sporting Clays is often described as “golf with a shotgun” due to the many similarities of the structure of the two games. It is a type of shotgun shooting sport that involves shooting at clay targets of various sizes going at different speeds. Instead of moving from "hole" to "hole" as in golf, shooters move to the next "station". There are 10-15 stations, depending on the particular course. At BOMA, we play in four-person teams (foursomes), just like golf.

Participants shoot at clay targets that are released from a variety of traps. The targets imitate the flight path of game birds and ground game, making it a challenging and exciting shooting sport. 

For those that do not want to play on a foursome, join us at a much-reduced price to come as a Spectator. Get all the fun, laughs, food, drink, and networking without playing.

7:30 am - Sponsor Puller Training (You must have an assigned puller)

8:00 am - Shooter Safety Briefing

8:30 am - Tournament Begins

12:00 pm - Lunch & Awards
