The BOMA Greater Dallas Annual Darts Tournament is almost here.

Darts, or dart-throwing, is a competitive game wherein game-players throw small sharp-pointed missiles, known as darts, at a round target referred to as a dartboard. At BOMA, we play a type of dart game called 301 in four-person teams, referred to as foursomes.

In 301, each team has 301 points at the start of the game; hence the name. Throughout the game, teams take turns rotating their players. Each time a player lands a dart on the dartboard, that player can reduce their team's total score down from 301 by the number of points indicated in the section their dart landed on the dartboard. The game requires much skill, especially toward the end, as a team needs to reach exactly zero points to finish the game as champion.
